PROFESSIONAL FUNDRAISER

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Raise funds for our cause and regularly meet or surpass fundraising targets
• Compile or develop materials to submit to granting or other funding organizations
• Research potential donors to gain insight and needs
• Connect with already existing donors and stakeholders
• Assist in brainstorming and creating new methods to raise funds
• Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions
• Use social media platforms wherever possible to improve fundraising activities
• Assist in planning and coordinator fundraising events
• Create marketing materials such as brochure/pamphlets/posters
• Analyzing performance of events and other fundraising activities for effectiveness
• Maintain complete and orderly records of donors and manage regular donor communication
• Build up existing donor relationship and form new ones
• Collaborate with other organizations and groups in the community

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• At least two years fundraising experience and/or degree/certification in related field
• Exemplary communication skills and outgoing personality
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Quick thinker and ability to make decisions under pressure
